About Margarita 

Margarita Rozenfeld founded Incite in 2002. Across sectors and more than 250 engagements, she has helped clients navigate change, work better together, and make a difference in the world.

Margarita initially developed coaching skills in kindergarten. A chronic and recovering overachiever, she pioneered her class in the mastery of shoelace tying. This motivated her friends to seek self-reliance and she was hired (for brownie points) to coach the group through the process. Having triumphed in her first task as a coach and a trainer, Margarita is honored that clients continue to seek her support in conquering challenges.

Margarita is a frequent speaker on topics of leadership, cross-cultural communication, and organizational effectiveness. Her expertise has been featured in the Atlantic, Washington Business Journal, The Washington Post, and several books on entrepreneurship and organizational effectiveness.

Margarita is extremely involved in the D.C. nonprofit community, including as a board member of the Center for Nonprofit Advancement, Kidsave, and the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship. For our community work, Incite was awarded Greater DC Cares seal for social responsibility. Margarita is also an active member of Leadership Greater Washington, Class of 2010.

Prior to launching Incite Margarita was a Management Consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton. She managed projects involving international environmental security tours and conferences for participants from the United States, Latin America and Partnership for Peace nations. Margarita began her career at Chemonics International, managing USAID and World Bank-funded projects in Latin America and the Caribbean.

Margarita holds a degree from James Madison University in International Affairs and Spanish and a graduate certificate in Organization Development and Change Leadership from Georgetown University. Her passion for international development, exploring different cultures and intent to change the world has compelled her to travel, live and work overseas. Margarita has studied in Spain, worked in Honduras and the United States with international clients, and traveled extensively in Europe, Asia and Latin America. Her uniquely integrated educational, international and professional experience enables her to work with a diverse, multicultural clientele in English, Russian and Spanish.
